Kristine (Kris) Fritz is a retired HPE teacher/coach from Sheboygan WI. She taught Pre K – 12 and coached MS/HS VB, BB and Track and running drill techniques for YMCA gymnasts. Ms Fritz is an outstanding HPE teacher/coach as evidenced by collegial recognition as WI & Midwest PE TOY, multiple awards from WI & MW, and the Sheboygan School Volunteer of the Yr. award. Other contributions to the profession have been made serving as both WI and Midwest District as association President and through service to the SHAPE via numerous activities and serving as TOY Chair. In addition, Kris has received SHAPE recognition as a Pathfinder, Honor Award, Joy of Effort Award, NAS, and most recently SHAPE Hall of Fame 2022. During her coaching career, Kris hosted two Australian Track Teams, traveled to the Netherlands and AU with teams through Sport for Understanding and has received recognition for coaching track through her high school conference. She has written and published multiple HPE/coaching articles and a Pre K PE children’s book.
