Tim attended Carroll College in Helena Montana from 1969 to 1973, where he majored in Social Science and played football all four years. After graduation, he accepted a teaching/head football coaching position at Frenchtown High School. Ten years later, Tim assumed the Activities Director position and continued teaching and coaching until he retired in 2005. During his thirty-two-year career at Frenchtown the school board, administration, and community supported the teachers, coaches, and staff and together they developed strong, cutting-edge academic programs and consistently successful athletic programs. The vast majority of the staff remained at the school throughout their careers, willingly helping each other year after year take opportunities to improve their programs. Most importantly, their capacities to understand and address the challenges inherent in teaching and coaching and to work together allowed us to help young men and women recognize and apply hard work, respect, humility, determination, teamwork, and a deep sense of family.
