(October 11, 2022) Sport Coach America is excited to announce the release of a new resource for parent-coaches, coach developers, and sport researchers. Preparing to Coach Your Children offers the parent-coach, across all sport settings, key considerations when coaching their children. Preparing to Coach Your Children is a working document developed by members of the Sport Coach America Coach Leadership Team and the Coach Development Team, with assistance from coaches, coach developers, and sport researchers. This free resource is available on the SCA website (www.sportcoachamerica.org) as a downloadable PDF.
